Creating Sessions
Learn how to create and manage climbing sessions in Chalky.
What is a Session?
A session represents a single climbing outing. This could be a gym session, a day at the crag, or even a multi-day climbing trip. Each session contains information about when and where you climbed, plus all the routes you attempted.
Creating a New Session
To create a new session:
- Open Chalky and tap the Sessions tab
- Tap the + button in the bottom right corner
- Fill in the session details
Session Details
When creating a session, you can specify:
- Date — When did you climb? Defaults to today
- Location — Where did you climb? Select from saved locations or add a new one
- Discipline — Bouldering, sport, trad, or top rope
- Duration — How long was your session?
- Partners — Who did you climb with?
